Is Ranger in Danger? is the story of a real dog-Ranger. Together with his brothers and sisters, he is rescued-brought in from the cold-to live on a farm until forever homes can be found for them.

This heartwarming tale, the newest installment in the Rescue series by Diane Odegard Gockel, is told from Ranger's perspective as he is scooped up by his rescuer, the Farm Lady. Thanks to her, he is now warm, fed, and surrounded by love and affection. Ranger is happy.

That is, until he meets Maggie and Bella, the older, larger dogs on the farm. Ranger has never seen creatures like them-and he's terrified! He can't tell which new experiences will be good and which will be dangerous.

Eventually, Maggie and Bella teach Ranger that not all new things are scary-and certainly not all of them are dangerous. As Ranger learns that new encounters can be good ones, the time comes for the Farm Lady to find his forever home.

But where is the perfect home for this pup if not with the Farm Lady who rescued him and his new best friends, Maggie and Bella?
