These children's French books combine simple text and amusing pictures to enable the child to learn from word and picture association. The stickers, certificate, child friendly characters and illustrations make learning a language at home both easy and fun. This can be further enhanced with the provision of Flash Cards and the Primary Language Publications Language Portfolio, which are available from the publishers. There are 10 activity books, all available in French, German, Spanish and Italian, which: help the child to learn the core KS2 language vocabulary; give opportunities for repeated, enjoyable practice; and give the child confidence and satisfaction in their new found skill. A self teach approach, with complimentary support available on line from qualified language teachers, allows even those parents who did not study the language at school to support their child at home.
