"No, I didn't", replies Grandpa. When Grandpa's back is turned, Simone pulls out the patch of weeds. So begins the tangible and touching story of Grandpa and Simone coming to terms with the loss of Grandpa's sight. When Grandpa says he's not going to the garden any more, Simone asks him to let her take his hand. She shows Grandpa the mango trees he knows so well and Grandpa recognises the sounds of the birds he used to hear every morning.
