Four weeks ago, Deidre Bird was just one of many struggling young actresses trying to find work in Hollywood; today, her jet- black hair and bright blue eyes are known to millions. As hostess of the nationally televised Ho Ho Game Show, Deidre has become a star virtually overnight. A lot of women would die for a job like hers—and for the chance to be near Sean Squires, Ho Ho�s gorgeous host. But Deidre couldn�t be more miserable!
For starters, everyone on the set seems to hate her, and she can�t figure out why. Sean in particular seems to have it in for her. How could anybody that good-looking be so nasty? she wonders. But is it really hate at first sight? Or something else? Deidre may never have a chance to find out. She finds herself pitted against superstar actress Shelly More in the battle for Sean�s affections, and a spiteful Hollywood gossip columnist adds fuel to the fire. To top it off, Ho Ho�s ratings are sinking, and the show�s director wants Deidre fired.
So much for the glamorous life!
