MoreThe leaders of the church have decided to turn the worn out church playground into a memorial rose garden. The children work together to develop a presentation to the church leaders sharing why this should not happen. The children decide to present their "case" with the calling of witnesses. These witnesses are children portraying children of faith in the Bible; Samuel, children who witnessed Jesus' performing miracles such as the boy who gave hislunch, and David. Each witness story is followed by a song about the Bible story. The story ends with leadersdeciding that they will surround a new playground with an iron and brick fence that will have a rose garden all around it - celebrating the faith of the past leaders of the church and the faith of the children today. This musical was produced by the Roswell UMC Children's Ministry as a part of a summer music camp program and it was very well received by the Director of Music, the children, and their parents.
