Add to this the news that he has to wear glasses and take violin lessons, and Rudy is ready to throw in the towel!

But things aren't much better for Rudy and Hildy Helen's father. Mr. Hutchinson has his own problems when he gets tangled in a dangerous dispute between the KKK and the Chicago Mafia. Racial tensions begin to soar until the Hutchinsons must decide if standing up for what's right is worth jeopardizing the safety of family and friends.
