Henry, introduced in Trouble in Two Lodges, 2003, is a retired veterinarian who moves to remote Montana to live out his days in privacy. He is drawn into the lives of a young couple by dramatic accident.

Elliott and Katelynn are accustomed to winning and having everything they want: a solid marriage, careers in professional rodeo, and expensive pickup trucks and trailers. It all comes crashing down in a terrible wreck.
