5/3/2010 Mary Sandford said: Ruby's lifestyle is outside of normal in many ways and yet she is a compelling character who deals with her life issues very much like other 13 year-olds. I was hooked from the first line and loved the twists and turns of the plot that made me really care about Ruby and her family.
