I really enjoyed this collection. The stories are fantastical, absurdly funny. Gaiman’s narration rocks. If someone had read to me as a child the way Gaiman reads, I would have likely developed a love for fantasy and fairy tales. Not all is lost though. ok ok... it's an audio book and it's read by the author and you don't get to see the great illustrations from the books. on the other hand, there is a story, cinnamon, that has never been in print and sometimes you do need to let your eyes rest and let your brain do a little picturing the pictures ... more
