A cover letter A self-addressed, stamped envelope large enough to return your work. Even if you do not want your work returned, please enclose a letter-sized envelope for our response. A one-page (250 word) synopsis of the contents of your book. For non-fiction, please include a table of contents. A resume or CV that includes an outline of your past publishing experience Either a complete manuscript or at least three sample chapters. In either case, we require a hard copy of the material. Please use Times New Roman (or comparable font), 12-point type, double-spaced, standard margins (1"-1.5"). It is not necessary to bind the manuscript. Please advise us of the word count for the manuscript. If you are submitting sample chapters only, we need to know the word count of the complete manuscript. We DO NOT accept email submissions. We DO NOT publish children's books for readers under 12 years of age. If you are submitting from outside of Canada, please enclose an International Reply Coupon with your self-addressed envelope. Postage from other countries is not recognized by Canada's postal system.
