Nonfiction author submissions accepted via U.S. Postal Service only. At this time our nonfiction department does not accept electronic submissions or queries, unless expressly requested by a member of our editorial staff.
If we feel that your writing sample and experience match the tone and style required for an upcoming nonfiction project, we will contact you. Capstone Press provides authors with series guidelines, general writing guidelines, style information, and sample Capstone Press books. Assignments are made based on a number of factors including:
Familiarity with topic
Ability to effectively write at the appropriate reading level
Publishing experience, particularity in nonfiction children’s books
Research experience
Reliability
Availability
