The Latin-sounding name Larus was originally created by Giovanni Maggi in 1978 when he founded the Publishing House. After more than 20 years the company has grown up but its original project is still alive: being an educational publisher specifically targeted at children and young adults. Today the books are sold all over the world and translated in twenty different languages.
