Hello,
I am a (newly) retired pre-school teacher, having worked with children and their families for 21 years in a Head Start program. I have gained alot of knowledge about young children during those years. Having read and continuing to read many, many, many, children's books, I awoke a desire to write children's picture books myself.
When I discussed this desire to my husband (who is a well-known Western and Wildlife artist and also an art teacher in a local college), he became excited also. We decided that we would like to become a husband and wife team with Carl (my husband) becoming the illustrator for the books that I would write. I am now in the process of learning the in's and out's of the field of getting children's books published, and in that process, finding out that there is alot to learn.

Hi Sharon,
I checked out Carl's artwork. It's wonderful. I'd love to see it translated to books. I don't suppose that's much of a surprise, because I write so much that is Western-themed.
