Jacqui, thanks for writing back. I use acrylics. I had a ceramics shop for a while. I was invited to take a painting class at the Visual and Performing Arts School I taught at. I have completed three others. I am not museum quality but I enjoy what I do. I still do ceramics and hope to teach it after school this next year. I teach remedial writing and I also teach English to speakers of other languages. (ESOL) I bring all of the arts that I do into my classroom. My ESOL students are getting ready to do soap sculpting to accompany a book we are reading about a young girl who sculpts soap into animals. They are also doing a quilted wall hanging of their country. I have just finished writing my first novel and am trying to find a publisher. I am writing my second book called "Hit and Run" a ghost story. Most of all I am taking the things I have been teaching my students for years and using it to do something that I thoroughly enjoy.
