Hey folks! I live in the urban-sprawl countryside of northwestern PA with my wife, our two young children, and two rubbish cats. By day, I’m a university biology professor. I began writing for children in the spring of 2002. I write poetry and fiction, for children and grown-ups. But no nonfiction — I’m expected to write and publish nonfiction in my day job, and want my creative writing to be an escape from that. So far, no publication credits in children’s lit, but someday… I look forward to meeting lots of new friends here and to becoming a better writer.
