I've been working as an elementary school counselor since I obtained my Master's Degree in Education in 2005. Bibliotherapy has always been a passion of mine. Over the years I have witnessed the healing power of books in childrens' lives. When I first started as a counselor, I was saddled with old dusty curriculums and really freaky social skills books from the 70's and 80's. I've made it my mission to find contemporary books that help to address the many issues that children currently have to deal with. I handpick all of my books and will only post books that I actually use and that truly make a difference in a child's life.

Currently, I am writing a bibliotherapy book on adoption that will be illustrated by my birth mother.
