About Peggy
I write fiction, poetry and non fiction for children. My newest picture book, NAME THAT DOG!, is an alphabet book of poems about dogs and their names and will be out from Dial Books for Young Readers on April 1, 2010. My first picture book of poems, FROM DAWN TO DREAMS, was published by Candlewick Press. TURKEY SURPRISE, a Thanksgiving picture book, also from Dial, was a NY Times bestseller. Occa... More

Hi Peggy! Thanks for the compliment on my writing room. I love the natural light and color too--purple, my favorite--but boy, does that space need a good cleaning! It was so nice to meet you, too! I see you have a new grandbaby. Congratulations! I have one, too—my first—born Nov. 22! He just spent a week at Riley Hospital with a respiratory infection. Whew! Lots of prayers! But he's fine now, thank God!

Hi, Peggy! At your urging, I did what I should have done a long time ago and added a bio and picture. I think when I first signed up on JacketFlap, I hadn't done any of the networking sites (Facebook, Twitter) and wasn't too sure what I was doing! Anyway, thanks!!
