Hello,
I have written a story called, Harry & Harriet Go Get Their First Haircut. I sent it to the Locks Of Love Organization and I got their approval to use their name in the story, and when the story is published and an event is scheduled I can register it with them and use their name and Logo to help promote that event. I need to find a publisher. Here’s a little about the story, and below that a little about the information they sent me.
Harry & Harriet Go Get Their 1st Haircut
(Comes with a 12 x 18 inch poster that tells the story with pictures. Comes in full color to hang and enjoy. Comes in color outlined to color in following the colors used in the outline, and comes in black and white to color in as you wish.)
1,991 words 33 pages with illustrations - The illustrations for the story I have in full color and black and white. That way the book can be a regular reading book and/or a coloring story book. Publishing the book in both styles I believe will sell. Children who are sick and waiting for a wig from Locks Of Love would enjoy reading the story, hearing the story, and coloring in the story. Here’s some information about the story.
Harry & Harriet are twins who have grown their hair since the day they were born. It has never been cut. They are starting school and decide they want they knew hairdos. Their mom takes them to get their hair cut and finds out the kids can donate their hair to Locks Of Love where wigs will be made for sick children who have lost their hair. This seems to make getting their first hair cut a little bit easier. Harry & Harriet both love their new hairdos, and have a wonderful first day of school.
Example:
“Harry & Harriet
have grown their long hair since
the day they both were born.
That’s five years for each kid.

Their hair goes down their backs,
and over their butts too.
It is always in braids.
They both want something new.”

I do want to have this book published and share some of the profits with Locks Of Love, like donate so much from each book sold. Would love for you to be the publisher. I’ve watched many family members get cancer and lose their hair and would have enjoyed a wig from Locks Of Love. Please, if their is any way you can help get this book published, I will be forever grateful. I will do whatever it takes to make the book a success.

I am an aspiring author and currently I am working on a project called "The Special Hug," a book written for toddlers/children aged 2-7. The book touches on topics such as love, marriage, intimacy, and pregnancy. These are heavy topics for my young audience but I wrote the book using simple, pure diction that is appropriate for this age group.
