Lorilyn Roberts graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Alabama in 1993 with a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Humanities/Social Sciences. She won an award for "Outstanding Senior Project" upon graduation for her coursework that was done in conjunction with her on-site study at the Institute of Holy Land Studies in Jerusalem. As a Certified Court Reporter, Ms. Roberts has made contributions to the journal published by the National Court Reporters Association. She has spent the last ten years providing real-time broadcast captioning for television for the hearing-impaired. Combined with her Biblical studies, she holds a unique perspective to write from a Christian worldview. Lorilyn Roberts' first book, The Donkey and the King, had a second printing last year, and is a beautifully illustrated children's book published by Virtualbookworm.com. In her latest book, Children of Dreams, the many pearls of suffering Lorilyn Roberts has experienced enable her to share deeply from the heart, and her writing, riveted with emotion, shows how God is able to restore dreams and bring redemption. Ms. Roberts is also intimately familiar with adoption having also been adopted as a child. She is working on her Masters of Arts in Creative Writing at Perelandra College.
