I'm a middle grades and YA writer, English teacher, wife, mother, reader, runner, hiker, biker, paddler, scribbler of ideas, and swinger of birches. My middle grades historical novel Spitfire is due out this September. It's about a girl who disguises herself as a boy to fight in a Revolutionary War naval battle on Lake Champlain.
