Hmmmm, I like it, but I would rather be in Asheville. A great town for foodies, artists and writers. I call it the Paris of the south. Great outdoor cafes, creative people gathering together to exchange ideas and share their work . . . just like Hemingway in Paris in the 20's! Will be visiting Brian... more

Write when you're in "the zone." To get IN the zone, read books, take a walk, look at what other authors are doing, listen to music. . .whatever it takes! lm

Hey Saffy. I'm not published yet, but will soon be sending my novel draft to an editor. Here's an idea that keeps me writing. Think of a character - it doesn't matter who, it could be someone you know or not - and then put them in an uncomfortable situation. How can you make that situation worse for... more
