I'm currently a student with the Institute of Children's Literature. Although I've written and "made up" stories since I was a child, I haven't taken any writing courses in many years. I'm a bit slow at it, but enjoying the process! I also have an art background & would like to learn to illustrate books.I presently work a home based business with a wonderful company that provides legal services for families & businesses. It allows me the time to set my own schedule and I don't have to commute anywhere I don't want to go. In my "other life" before motherhood, I was an education & speech pathology major, but school was eventually replaced with the business of raising my son. I'd like to finish my bachelors degree someday, but not in my original choice of study. Too many hours & huge caseloads. Maybe something to do with literacy would suit me better now.
