Janet Toole Lewis is a writer of children's books and has also written short stories for children's magazines.

She is currently working on a series of books to be published this year. The first book in the series is titled, "Happy Birthday Zoo You!"

Janet wrote the children's book : "Where The Palm Trees Sway," published in July 2010,
illustrated by Carol Mahone.

Janet lives on the gulf coast of Florida. She has a deep love for the beaches along the Gulf of Mexico and has been involved in several fund raisers to benefit the coast and children's charities. She has a passion for helping others and donates books to children's hospitals around the country .

Recently, Rodrigo Otazu known as the designer for the stars created a beautiful bracelet with Swarovski crystal elements to benefit the Gulf of Mexico.The crystals reflect the gulf water.
