About David

My career of writing and illustrating has taken a new turn with my creation of LUNA, an intermediate book designed for interaction with Google users. I believe it will alter electronic publishing as it now exists. It is with Mr. Sundar Pichai of Googles chrome team, and is designed to augment their Chromebooks at School, 1:1 school day programs.

Hi David! Many thanks for your last comment and visit to my JF page. I don't get to the site as often as I should. Best wishes with your projects--hope all is going well for you! Happy Spring!

A scientist named Andrew Chung, MD/PhD speaks about weighing 32 ounces of food a day as the daily meals. One meal may be 8 ounces or 5 ounces. This helps everyone who does it not overeat and have heart disease. You may want to do a search for WDJW to find him.

Happy TGIF David! You make a great point, in regards to determining an appropriate medium for a story. I agree, with your decision to use black and white for your Mystery Chapter Books. Anytime, I think of Hardy Boys, Hitchcock and your example Sherlock Homes I imagine black and white illustrations.... more

Welcome to JacketFlap, David. What an interesting bio! Great illustrations, too. I've never come across anyone who wrote about food history before. The best writer's workshop I ever took, though, was on food poetry(!) that inspired an on-going project I've been working on for several years. Yo... more
