Mexican graphic designer and illustrator, specialized in children's books area.
Valeria Cervantes, was born at Mexico City in 1972, graduated in Graphic Communication Design in 1997 and master degree graduated in Visual Communication in 2005.
Has fourteen years of professional experience. Specialized as designer and illustrator in the publishing area, since 1997 until 1999 she worked in several advertising agencies and publisher houses in Mexico City. Since 2000 at now she manages "Liblew" her own design bureau, developing a such of graphic projects, but first focused in the publishing area, working for houses in México and abroad as:
USA: Arte Público Press/University of Houston, The Wright Group, McGraw-Hill, Green Tales, Wilkinson Studios, Pearson Education, Editorial Santillana, Solibros Publishing, etc.
Mexico: Cengage Learning Iberoamérica/Thompson, McGraw-Hill Interamericana, Editorial Patria, Ediciones Castillo, Norma Ediciones, Ediciones Larousse, Editorial Trillas, Editorial Noriega-Limusa, etc.

• WINNER of the "Tejas Star Book Award 2010-2011", TX, USA. For the book "No Time for Monsters" APP, University of Houston, 2010.
• Selected by Bayer laboratories for heading the jury of first competition of illustration “Vive, dibuja y juega: Profilaxis y Hemofilia”, México, 2010.
