I write and illustrate books for children. I’ve produced work for a wide range of publishers including Bloomsbury, OUP, Ragged Bears, Scholastic, Macmillans and Piccadilly Press.
I’m currently illustrating a book for Simon and Schuster and this year (2012), will see the release of books for Scholastic, Piccadilly Press, OUP and Orchard.

As an illustrator I have worked extensively for magazines, ad agencies, design companies and animation firms, producing all kinds of work from book jackets and film posters to advertising campaigns and packaging. I also wrote and drew a long-running cartoon strip for the Royal Mail.

The second of my books, ‘Little Robots’, was made into an animated TV series. It’s shown on CBeebies in Britain, there have been 65 episodes made so far, and the show has been sold all round the world. As well as doing all of the character design and much of the pre-production design, I also wrote several of the episodes.
