Elizabeth is right however you can have illustration ahead of time. You simply need to inform the publisher that you already have illustration. Hi Barbara, welcome to Jacket Flap. What kinds of books do you write and for what age? Most publishing companies like to find their own illustrators. You don't have to worry about that part.
