A graduate of the University of Nigeria Nsukka with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Statistics/Economics obtained in 1982. His professsional certifications/memberships include National Institute of Credit and Institute of Management Consultants. Holds a Diploma of the London School of Journalism and a Ph.D (Honoris Causa).

Was very active in national student politics in Nigeria from 1978 t0 1982, and had some great reputation as a campus poet while at the University of Nigeria. Wrote for several newspapers after University and has a collection of ready-for-publishing 200 poems of diverse styles. A full time oil and gas management consultant presently. Still writes and is working on publishing his first poetry books.
