Pretty cool! Thanks Kim. But I worry about those people, after what happened at the SF Zoo. My son and I had our picture taken with a cheetah in the Wild Animal Park in Winston, Oregon. Wouldn't it be wonderful if some day man could be at peace with the animals? ZD
Comment by Kim Donald on 2/26/2009 8:38:52 PM:
If you love big cats, then you should check out the Tiger Temple in Thailand. It's on my Bucket List!

But tarantulas can't bite your hand off! 8-[ ] ZD
Comment by Julie Murphy on 2/26/2009 3:15:59 PM:
You patted a tarantula! You are a braver person than I am! The best I can claim is playing with a young lion...who was still strong enough to just about knock me over! That was one of the perks of working in the zoo industry (and it was a hand-raised lion on a leash).
Best regards,

Hi Jc! I had a friend accidentally touch a power line with his long window-washing pole, and he got the soles of his shoes blown off. I guess that's something like getting struck by lightning. But he wasn't wearing red. ;-) ZD
Comment by Jc Scott on 1/23/2009 8:36:54 AM:
Hmm. Interesting. Now that you told me about it, I'm going to have to do it. Even if it was true, still...wouldn't it be an amazing experience to get struck by lightning?...Oh, and live to tell about it.
