I write young adult fiction and adult fiction. I am the Publicity Chair for a 90 year old writers' organization in the panhandle of Texas. I am also the Contest Chair for our annual writing contest - Frontiers in Writing which is connected to our annual Conference, also called Frontiers in Writing. I am interested in connecting with writers, publishers and agents of children's fiction and non-fiction.On a personal level, I am the mother of four children, three girls and a boy. They are all grown and I have three grandchildren by two of my girls, two granddaughters, ages 10 and four and one grandson, 6 months old.My time is divided between babysitting the 4 year old and the 4 months old who live in the same town I do and writing and working for PPW. I love the job. It's totally volunteer, no pay. I have given countless hours of volunteer time to organizations through the years; all of which were rewarding exoeriences, but working for PPW has been the most rewarding experience I've ever had.I am not yet published, but that is still my goal, which I will reach.
