Nikole (Nikki) Brooks Bethea is an environmental engineer as well as a children's writer. She earned her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Environmental Engineering from the University of Florida (Go Gators!). She lives in Marianna, Florida with her husband, Patrick, a mechanical engineer, and 4 sons.
