I love writing. What else can I say?

I currently work part-time as a psychiatric nurse at a treatment center for children. When not there, I am a stay-at-home dad and a writer.

I have been writing in the children's literature genre for the past 5 years, working in prose and verse. A few of my poems are due out in 2010 in a collection from Marshall Cavendish. I founded The Prose Shop in 2005, an online critique group for picture book writers which is still running strong. Our members have been published in numerous magazines and books. Yippee!

Before this I wrote for several newspapers and magazines in the New York area. I also performed throughout the country with a storytelling troupe, improvising stories and songs for children and families. My wife and I still do this on occasion.
