About Karin

I write rhythmic picture books, children’s poetry, and nonfiction and am the author of four folk tale adaptations written in a limited vocabulary for a reading program. What ties my writing projects together is that I love finding the words to fit certain criteria, while creating text worth reading again and again. 4/18/2013Lemon Tree, Very Pretty
We were lucky to move into a house a few years ago with an established Meyer lemon tree. The tree has been prolific. Once I invited a friend to collect some lemons for her daughter’s school event. She stopped by when I was out and filled a bag. I... Read the rest of this post

I sometimes write poetic stories. I have some on my blog, and one published on-line.

Thanksk Karin. Do you know of any publishers I should send my work too? I'm pretty new at this.

Karin. I'm new here. I'm trying out the childrens book illustration. I've been drawing disney-style characters since I was 8. Let me know if you could do something with my style of illustration. Or if you know someone that fits my style.

-Thanks. :)

You could say I have spent some intense min... more

Thanks, Eric.
I'm Karin-with-an-i. I don't know if people pronounce it "Karen" in their heads (which is correct) and then translate to their fingers, or the fingers automatically type the more familiar letters, but I've been surprised how often people type "Karen" though they've only see... more
