I'm so pleased about finding your website. Even though My book A THREAD RUNS THROUGH; A Memoir Of A Mended life appears to be targeting the older adult market, the bulk of my book is about the adversities common to all children and young adults. I wish there were books available to me while enduring bullying, being raised dirt poor, and coming from a large family. I use a lot of humor in my life just to get through it. Being allowed to share feelings is an important, healthy part of our lives that usually gets pushed down, inward, creating dangerous emotions regarding losses and unhappiness. My entire childhood I was always reading something through my 'coke bottle' eye glasses. I was almost blind and afraid that someday I would lose my eyesight, so read every book in our small town library by the time I graduated high school. AND HAVEN'T QUIT !!!
