Hi Jaymie,

I have not updated my profile lately. I am currently a staff writer and marketing rep for a local women's magazine. I have also written the first two manuscripts of a picture book social studies series for ages 5-8. I am a single mother of a 10 year old son and had been unemployed for ten months prior to joining Desert Rose Magazine.

While I was unemployed, querying agents/publishers was put on the back burner; I searched day and night for a job. I am making very little money at the magazine, due to the fact that my main job is as a marketing rep and I am the worst marketing rep everrr!! I am also trying to support my son.

I would be eternally grateful if you would look at the first two manuscripts of the series. My mom said that she would front the money to pay to have my first manuscript self-published by Amazon; so thankful for her. Yet I am trying to find a traditional publisher.

My series is very unique and has a huge market. I also have a friend that is a synopsis writer for Disney/Pixar and he seems to think that my series would be something that Nickelodeon might be interested in once the book is published.

I would be ever so grateful if you would accept my first two manuscripts to read. I hope to hear back from you. Thank you for your consideration and time.
