I tried leaving you a comment on your blog "Advance on Royalties" but it won't go through. I think royalties really depends on the publisher. Some of the bigger publishers offer more of an advance depending on your previous book sales. But some publishers are going to a flat rate for illustrators ... more

Hi Kathy...I didn't realize that you were from Nova Scotia...my favourite place in Canada!...where in Nova Scotia?...a trip to Lunenburg got me painting again...I found my roots there..I was born in Newfoundland...
