Darrin Egan is an artist, musician and self professed hockey nut! Hockey has been an artistic inspiration for me since grade school. I find the history of hockey to be an ongoing fascination, some might say obsession. The idea of trying to capture an era long before action photography, is a great passion of mine. The paintings below are part of a series of 23 that I have completed so far. They cover the history of goaltending from the early 1900's until now. I would love the opportunity to have them published as a coffee table book at some point.
