I've been writing since Grade Four when I wrote my first poem. I am not 15 years old as indicated but rather reverse - like 51 - and have one book published. I have though - ten books written. I was a single parent who 'didn't give up my writing career' - but did give up my freedom to be a single-mother-person writer - to raise my beautiful daughter.

I am now at an age where she is independent (with her own writing skills and beautiful voice - and was First Runner-Up in the 2011 Miss Indian World Pageant in Albequeque, New Mexico last Spring - which tells you we are of Native (North, North American - Canadian). I have three children's books written but not published and six others I am working on because I cannot wtite one book at a time. That's it for now.
