Something about myself folks:



Sean Michael Wilson is a comic book writer from Edinburgh, Scotland but now lives in Japan. His first published story came out in 1998 in a book and display of an exhibition of comic art in London. Increasingly he is working with Japanese and Chinese artists on manga style books, but his main influences remain British, European and American comics such as creators Alan Moore, Grant Morrison, Eddie Campbell, Harvey Pekar etc.



His work includes:

-The graphic novel ANGEL OF THE WOODS, 2003

-The story CHIMPIRA in MANGA MOVER, 2004

-The poem comics in award winning collection BEAUTIFUL THINGS, 2005

-A historical manga THE JAPANESE DRAWING ROOM (with artist Sakura Mizuki, of THE RING horror manga); MLA, 2006

-A Yaoi manga story GANG OF LOVE in Yaoi Volume one, Yaoi Press, 2007

-The manga on a late 19thC writer: LAFCADIO HEARN'S JAPANESE GHOST STORIES, Demented Dragon books, 2007

-A documentary comic book, IRAQ: OPERATION CORPORATE TAKEOVER, War on Want, 2007

-A manga with Yishan Li, THE STORY OF LEE, in the MAMMOTH BOOK OF BEST NEW MANGA, volume 2

-An adaptation of A CHRISTMAS CAROL, with artist Mike Collins, due for release summer 2008 with Clasical comics, UK.
