I am a retired educator. I have taught and have been a school counselor at the elementary level. More recently, I was a principal at a continuation high school and special ed. administrator.
In my retirement, I am using my experiences to reach elementary school children. My stories touch those tender issues children experience with a hope that they can gain some insight from them.
My first book reaches out to parents, teachers or grandparents as their children begin asking those tough questions about Santa Claus. This story will preserve the trust between the adult and child when a child begins to question the reality of Santa Claus. It provides a tool to facilitate this discovery and at the same time continue the excitement and joy of Christmas.
The second book is for children striving to maintain healthy relationships with their friends. The story works through an inappropriate relationship and the realization of what the character needs for a good friend.
