When not wrestling with bunyip’s in the Australian bush, Matt B spends his time writing and illustrating children’s books.

A welcomed guest at schools and creative events, Matt B inspires and empowers children through his foundational approach to illustration, storytelling and creative character design.

While Matt B has written and / or illustrated over 20 books with kangaroos, wombats and echidnas, he’s always on the lookout to illustrate some coyotes, buffalos, and groundhogs.

Matt B is passionate about Education and the Environment and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Further Education and Training and a Master’s Degree in Environmental and Business Management.

Matt B lives, plays, and creates in Queensland, Australia with his wife and two amazingly creative kids.
