After I responded to your friend request I saw that you taught 35 years. I also taught 35 years before I retired....all of them as a 4th grade teacher. We have a lot in common. I love that through my writing I can still communicate with children.

Your book sounds wonderful, Sharron. I wish you all good fortune with it. I too am a late-in-life author and it's been a wonderful experience to read my book to young people and try to answer their questions afterwards.

It's a lovely combination from a mum and son, and a contribution to the kids. But it is bad hard to read it as I am in China.
