Wow! What a really fantastic website. Not too sure where to begin, so forgive me if I end up repeating anything that I've already placed somewhere else in JacketFlap.I made up my mind a long time ago at the tender age of 6 that one day, I'd become a comic book artist. Why? Because I was one of the lucky kids in my area who was able to get his hands on all of the early Marvel Comics drawn by Steve Ditko and the great, Jack Kirby himself.Over the past 32 years, I've had both the fun and joy of working mainly on a variety of licensed characters, these ranging from Wallace & Gromit, Shaun The Sheep, The Tick, Duckula to Dangermouse, Sesame St,...but too many to mention, so perhaps I'll leave that bit for future messages.Apart from comics and children's book illustrations, for four years, I produced cartoons for broadcast television. One of the things I'm presently enjoying is creating comic strips for mobile phones on an international basis. As for family, I have two grown-up sons from a previous marriage, Matthew, 33, who is involved in music production whilst living in Amsterdam, and Nathan, 30, who is an hotel manager in Scotland. Sarah and I have a five year old little boy, Jakob, who's into the 1960s Batman, and movies like Up. Or is that me? These days, apart from working on and promoting a new Humph the Cat strip, this based on a character I originally had in the pages of Transformers UK comic back in the 8os, I'm also involved in producing the Wallace & Gromit daily cartoon strip in The Sun newspaper.
