How to use this Page
You are viewing the most recent posts tagged with the words: Dudels Art in the JacketFlap blog reader. What is a tag? Think of a tag as a keyword or category label. Tags can both help you find posts on JacketFlap.com as well as provide an easy way for you to "remember" and classify posts for later recall. Try adding a tag yourself by clicking "Add a tag" below a post's header. Scroll down through the list of Recent Posts in the left column and click on a post title that sounds interesting. You can view all posts from a specific blog by clicking the Blog name in the right column, or you can click a 'More Posts from this Blog' link in any individual post.
I know he looks more like he's in his 80s BUT the title has a nice ring to it this way. Click the image to view on my deviantART! Image opens in new window and looks better in larger scale.
"Brothers and sisters, we have been hidden from the world for far to long. It is time that we stand up and show who the runners and rulers are. It is time that we, we that are those here, rise up and claim the world which is rightfully ours!"Been awhile since my last submission. I've a few hand drawn ones that just never made it to the scanner. This is for Ancient Civilization. I guess these alien-people-things live underground somewhere and are something like the Illuminati. I don't know, with me you can't ever tell where things come from.
This started as a poor attempt at making a odd looking Greek type of building but turned into the above. With me it always turns into either people or aliens. Something about the odd shapes of "lifeforms" that make my eye see them in a jumbled mess of nothing. At one point that image was the two below images. Do you see what I was originally trying for?
Then I tried to add stairs and an entrance to another room. This didn't work, though, as the rest of the image was flat. However the second I filled that center piece in white and zoomed out, I decided to make a little experiment with the image.
Two or three steps later and we've the final product. I should make more "step-by-step" things. Otherwise how I get to my nonsense makes no sense, at all. The very fist thing I "drew" (point and click =/= drawing) was one of the column pieces, then copy-pasted it into a column (after fliping it upside down and backwards) then copy-pasted the column itself.
Hooray for paint oddness!
Well, it's a frog that is crying.
Earth animals are not my strong suit as they are very particular in how they do or do not look. However, my attempts are made. I do wish I had more access to a scanner as doing paint things is a bit dragging, sometimes.
All in all, I feel like I did a very good job.
This is my Monday Artday submission for "feast". Although I don't think it counts as a feast until I explain that this little burger is actually several stories high.
I've been doing these MS Spraypaint images as of late and 100% enjoying them.

I honestly don't know of anything or anyone, other then perhaps being alive, then my beautiful girlfriend. I have NEVER been in love and it is a WONDERFUL FEELING! This was, perhaps, the EASIEST Monday Artday for me so far. Mainly because the illustration was completed already. I did this for her on Valentines day cause I didn't have any money.
Really, isn't she BEAUTIFUL? Just the most wonderful individual on this planet and I've NEVER been so glad another person was SIMPLY ALIVE. I can honestly say I am grateful she just plain old every day exists.
Sir, welcome aboard the Tug-Tub, sir. After seeing a lot of the submissions for sailor my brain could not help but see the classic cartoon gag of dude wearing a sailor suit, in a bathtub.. that has a sail. So I kinda did something like that. Well I did EXACTLY that, whatever. I had lots of time today so this was done. A lot of my entries for this month, or more, will be "paint replicas", due to not having the scanner working. I like how these are turning out so its cool with me.
Blog: Still Updated Daily
The Unicy's and Bicy's were at war for many years before reaching the agreement to just chop their world in half. Of course each side has their own propaganda to deal with. Discrediting one wheel over two while or embracing the one wheeled god. Oh, but don't be fooled! You only see this one side of the world, the other is exactly the same except there are two instead of one. Two wheels, two all knowing and all powerful gods and, of course, two lanes on the street.
"One way," Says those with a single tire. "Both ways," Shouts those with two wheels in response. "You're wrong," Each side shouts in symphony yet ignores its counterpart. "We're right," They all continue as arms start to rise.
Another war ensues and after many years of strife the world is finally one. Each side mingles with its other but those that lost the war are now a minority. Segregation seems something all humanoids capable of. Clearly the Unicy's are superior! That is why they won the war, right?
My first submission is a quick drawing I did last night in the excitement that I might get accepted. Its the "old me". I think it would be funny if I looked kinda like my grandfather (even if we are not blood related) and walking out of a game store. I'm already complaining about how "old systems are better" so I gave myself an OLD SCHOOL Gameboy with an ear bud that kinda looks like a hearing aid.
Its drawn in normal pencil then outlined in colored pencil and cropped a little cause I almost NEVER actually use the whole page when drawing like that.
I attempted to leave a comment on your blog, but there are some issues with the way the "comments" section is appearing that do not allow me to do so. (No access to the "word verification".) So, I will leave the comment here and perhaps you will see it.
Regarding your post about Disney's purchase of Marvel Entertainment.
Speaking as a stockholder in both Disney and Marvel, Disney buying Marvel is a good thing. Disney is the greatest marketer and one of the largest enetertainment conglomerates this planet has ever seen.
Do you really think that Disney will "kiddy up" Marvel Comics? Did they "kiddy up" Mirimax films when they purchased that entity? I don't remember "Pulp Fiction", a Mirimax release, being a kiddy film. Did they "kiddy up" ESPN or ABC networks when they made those purchases? Monday Night Football and The ABC Evening News are very adult-oriented.
Marvel cartoons currently comprise 20% of programming on Disney's XD cable channel. Purchasing Marvel was a business venture designed to increase Disney's appeal and market share the the lucrative teen and young adult male demographic. While I'm sure there will be some cross-company mingling of characters, I can guarantee that Disney's goal in this (and all) aquisition, first and foremost, is to make money. And a company does not make money by changing what is already a proven moneymaker.
Heh... And welcome to Monday Artday. :)
Hahaha, that's hilarious. Congrats on Blog Of Note!
Yeah, I'm still working comments out on my blog. Sometimes things "work" and other times, not so much.
But yeah, I don't really "care" and I only think its a matter of money wanting money. I see no harm, personally.
Also: Yes "Ha" and "Heh" would be appropriate for that image. I don't take things seriously.
Also, Also: I am excited to be here and already working on next submission!
