1. Update & Mo'!

It's been a crazy month of pals, work, appearances, family, & holiday. ALA was great fun. I always enjoy seeing old pals, authors, editors, librarians, and their ilk on the floor.  This years Caldecott & Newbery speeches were excellent and this years Geisel Medalist, Josh Schneider, knocked it out of the park. I'm heading to Anaheim for the American Library Association's convention (my schedule is here), then off to visit pals, colleagues, and family across California for a bit. 3. THANKS TO YOU & BEA recap

5. Summer Hours!

I had good, yet overwhelming fun at the NY Comic Con this weekend. The crowds were large, the fans fun, and I got to run into a bunch of pals like Charise Harper, Lane Smith and Molly Leach, Tom Tomorrow, the guys at First Second, Top Shelf, MAD Mag, and on and on…But for me the highlight, pal wise, was getting to meet Diary of a Wimpy Kid’s Jeff Kinney, a sooper-nice dude who’s funny and
