I love browsing through fabric websites and it was great to look through the 2000 plus designs available at Plush Addict. 4. JOHN LEWIS - haberdashery

Larger John Lewis stores have excellent habedashery departments with everything you need for sewing and knitting including fabric by the metre and fat quarters.  The cotton fabrics are a mix of exclusive designs and also prints from American quilt companies like this design above and below from Andover Fabrics by Lizzy house. Designer Anneline Sophia has a new collection of fabric designs with Modern Yardage. 'Colorful Mexico' is as the name suggests, inspired by the bold and bright colours of the fabrics, folk art, embroidery, festivals and people of Mexico.  As the fabric is digitally printed, the colours are beautiful and vibrant. 7. LIGHTING - hunky dory home

hunky dory home have created a new range of printed lamps which are available online. the shades are handmade by Alison of Hunky Dory and the bases are also made by hand out of solid hardwood by a talented furniture maker. more prints are available and can be seen online here.

I was invited to take a look at the latest collections from Camelot Fabrics by the Cinnamon Joe Studio. i had fun looking though the swedish fabric company website recently. this Uk based company have a great collection of scandinavian designs. the site is run by northlight (you may remember they had a bricks and mortar store in oxford for a while which i blogged here) but they are now opperating online. these are some of the fabrics that caught my eye... and dont forget

23. On A Whim Birds

these designs are the wonderful whimsical prints of  japanese illustrator and pattern designer anyan sha. anyan has his own fabric label called 'cotrienne' and below are a selection of his prints which are all available on fabrics in various colourways. He loves to bring a touch of humour to his work and loves the retro scandinavian look you can see all of anyan's fabrics online at cotorienne
