1. Day's End Lullaby on Tour

My children's picture book Day's End Lullaby recently had a facelift - I had new interior and cover illustrations created to make this sweet, rhyming, and soothing bedtime story even better.

Day's End Lullaby is based on an original lullaby and the sheet music is included in the back of the book. To check out a singing review go to:

Or check it out on YouTube:

To celebrate the new illustrations, I'm having a week long virtual book tour through the Working Writers Club and it starts Monday, March 26th.

Be sure to follow along and comment - there will be three great giveaways:

1. $10 gift certificate to Amazon
2. Two copies of Day's End Lullaby

The winners will be based on the most comments during the week long tour. If there are ties, they'll be a random means of choosing a winner and the first and second runners up.

The tour schedule:

Monday, March 26 - Irene Roth

Tuesday, March 27 - Mayra Calvani

2. Walking Through Walls is Taking Another Tour Around the Block

Well, I'm at it again with another tour for Walking Through Walls, but this time I'm not doing it on my own, I'm going with World of Ink Tours.

And, the tour begins TODAY!

You might be wondering why I'm having another virtual tour for Walking Through Walls, and the answer is two-fold:

1. I have tremendous belief in my middle-grade fantasy adventure story, Walking Through Walls, and want to give another opportunity to attract new readers, and I'm also promoting my first book, Day's End Lullaby.

Day's End Lullaby is a soothing, lyrical, and rhyming children's bedtime picture book with the sheet music to the lullaby included in the back of the book. To learn more about Day's End Lullaby and read some great reviews, and even a singing video review, go to:

To learn more about Walking Through Walls and read some great reviews, and check out a couple of interior illustrations, go to: http://walkingthroughwalls-kcioffi.blogspot.com

2. These books are great holiday gifts and wanted to share them with readers.

3. Day's End Lullaby Book Review Video

Thanks to Amy Robbins-Wilson, creator of Lullaby Link, Day's End Lullaby is now in a video.

Amy has a google search for "lullaby" and came upon my book. She contacted me and offered to include my book as a review video on her site. But, she didn't stop there, she offered to create a video of the lullaby on YouTube!

Last month was full of wonderful surprises and this was one of them. Well, Amy kept her word and provided me with links to both the review video on her site, and the video of the lullaby on YouTube.

Please check out these two videos and let me know what you think:

This children's bedtime picture book has the sheet music to the lullaby included as an added feature at the back of the book.

I'd appreciate your feedback.

Thanks,
Karen

4. DAYS END LULLABY

We are thrilled to announce that our children's bedtime story Day's End Lullaby is featured in an article in the Queens Chronicle. Ms. Lee Landor, Editor, wrote a wonderful piece about the book and about us as local authors. Below is the link to the article.

5. Two Wonderful Weeks

This has been a wonderful two weeks. First my second grandson was born which is an amazing and joyful blessing. And, while my next two presents (I think of them that way) are insignificant in comparison, I do feel excited about them.

Yesterday, our local paper, The Queens Chronicle, published an article about our book, Day's End Lullaby, and us. The reporter/editor, Ms. Landor, liked the book so much she wanted to help us promote it. Today, I got my copy of the paper. I was so surprised when I saw the article took up more than half the page. I'm writing this with a smile on my face.

It gets better though. A couple of weeks ago I submitted Day's End Lullaby to Stories for Children Magazine for review. Today I received and email with the review. It received a 5 star review!

I've mentioned before that life is so interesting and funny. For the past year or so I've been wondering what my life would have been like if I didn't have MS. Would I have gotten my MBA or become a CPA? Would my personality be different, would I be thinner? :) Who would I be now at 55-years-old. I guess I'll never know. But, I do know having to give up my career led me onto a new path that opened up new opportunities and blessings.

Karen
