I pickled my heart back in '82. I've been searching for the jar this week, but it hasn't turned up yet. It should be well marinated by now.

My lovely wife and I went to the Macaroni Grill for dinner last night. Any restaurant with crayons and paper on the table is a good one in my book. This piece is purple crayon on craft paper. Shelly, our waitress, ripped it off to hang in their prestigious back room gallery.

Pencil with watercolour A4 size. Click to enlarge.
Brown velvet armchair. Cut out and stuck on another page. Glue showing through . Slightly foxed on bottom edge, with a few dabs of watercolour.
Pencil 9cm x 10cm. Click to enlarge.
An old drawing that was stuck down with Cow Gum. The adhesive discoloured the paper in quite a nice way. This is somewhere in England, but I can't remember the exact location.

Lately, I've been experiencing episodes of G-Doubt.
Ink, pencil and collage. A4 size. Click to enlarge.
Mei Matsuoka is a Japanese-English illustrator with some really charming work. She mixes media like a champ and the work is totally playful and innocent. See more at her portfolio.

I sipped my coffee at the bar, knee deep in discarded sugar packets which the locals carelessly drop on the floor. I saved mine in the sketchbook. With caffeine jetting through my bloodstream I set off into the town to draw the beautiful cathedral and the old geezers killing time in El Espolón.
Pen and wash, water-soluble crayon. Each page 21cm x 15.5cm. Click pics to enlarge.
Been jamming tonight to "Hair Pie, Bake 2". For more HP sauce see this.
