I have them in white as well but these purple irises are just so wonderfully vibrant that I had to draw one of course, so went out with my trusty little camera and took tons of pics. I haven't done it justice but here's the result.

Wild weeds are like you and me in many a way, they can be unwanted or asked to stay.
Some very plain, some kind of prickly we are kind to call spiny, some so very very small we just say tiny.
Most are in places humans don’t go and never think of unless in the garden they show.
Like you or me sometimes not listened to unless they hide in someone bigger’s shoe.
But now and then a closer look is needed and that weed becomes a flower everyone wants seeded.

My favorite character in Beautiful Creatures is Ridley b/c it isn't her fault she became a dark caster & I don't think she enjoys being dark as much as she makes it sound. I believe she is very misunderstood.
Yes I do! :D My favorite character in Beautiful Creatures is Ridley b/c it isn't her fault she became a dark caster & I don't think she enjoys being dark as much as she makes it sound. I believe she is very misunderstood.
Delete this comment please y'all. I accidentally posted it twice & this was before I logged in.
I deleted the double-comment :D YES! And I adore Emmy Rossum, I just think she's gorgeous.
I love Amma. She's a tough but very loving person. She does anything and everything for those she loves.
LINK! He's an awesome friend.
Lena. LOVE her, even though she's tortured. :D
I desperately want to read this series!!! Thanks for the giveaway!
I unfortunately haven't read it so I can't really have a favorite character but I'm loving everything I've heard about Lena.
YES! Adorable too.
I love Amma too! I am really looking forward to seeing Viola Davis in action.
Srsly? Just kidding, I love Lena, though I love Alice Englert more. I think she was pretty much perfectly cast.
I really like it, Erin! I mainly have listened to the audiobooks (love the reader (Kevin T. Collins), but Kami and Margie live out here so I buy the hardcovers too.
I like Lena but I love Ridley. More Ridley! <3
Christina K. in the rafflecopter
Definitely Ethan because he's such a nice, smart guy!
Ridley too! She's complex and tough but kind:)
Ridley! I'm a huge Emmy Rossum fan, plus I just love her in the books. The different, slightly twisted ones are always my favorites.
I actually have not had the chance to read this book yet but am looking forward to it.
RC: June Manning
I haven't had the chance to read the books yet, but I'm looking forward to seeing the movie.
Lena because she's so smart and self aware.
I have two favorites. I absolutely adore Macon. He's such an interesting character and I can't help but adore him. My second favorite is Ridley because she is such a complex character and I expect we'll see a lot more from her in the other books.
Love them both! I'm also super glad Jeremy Irons seems to like taking roles in kind of cheeseball movies. He's so good at them and I love him for it.
Sweet!
Let us know what you think! I am hoping Thuy and I will see it on opening weekend.
I have been watching her music videos on YouTube all week, getting in the mood and coveting her dresses!
:) I liked it, June. I really need to finish reading the 2nd half of the series this year.
I love Ethan. My husband thinks he's too much of a girl. (But what does that say about my husband? o_O)
I haven't read the book yet but am planning on it. The movie trailer has me so excited. Ridley has me very intriqued.
I love Ridley Duchannes because she is a complex and complicated character and her reasons for being what she is, is not without reason*
My favorite character is.. Well, it's Ethan 'cause I really love the main characters and they're always my favorites.. So, naturally, I also like Lena .. :)
My favorite character is Ethan! I love his overall personality and I loved reading the book from his point of view.
I am rush-reading this book to try to get it in before I see the movie lol so I'm kind of early in the journey - I'll let you know if/when a fav character appears!
I'm still only halfway through the first book so I'm not sure yet who my favorite is! Gotta rush-read before the film opens...
I really like Ridley because she is so interesting.
I like Ethan because he is so caring and protective over Lena, he doesn't care if he is different from the others in Gatlin he makes Lena feel normal and cared for, which she never really got anywhere but from her uncle and a few others ,but human wise Ethan is the only one who gets her. It.makes me want my own Ethan because he is so sweet:)
I really like Ethan because I enjoyed reading the book from his point of view since he is the one chasing Lena versus other books which is usually the girl chasing the guy. It was really refreshing to see the guy's point of view. He is also really loving not only towards Lena, but also to Amma. The way he sacrifices his reputation in Gatlin just to talk and get to know Lena and Ravenwood is really inspiring. His curiosity is really adorable also!
I can't wait for this! I wish Mortal Instruments would jump start production like Beautiful Creatures :)
I'm looking forward to both adaption :)
I kinda like the 3 older sisters. They are hilarious!
My favorite character is Amma becuase shes quirky and cool. I would love to meet her and I cant wait to see if the actress playin her captures her beautifully.
Amma. I just love her tough love ways! She was awesome in the books. And I love Ethan and Lena, of course!
