4. Eddy Broth doll

Better bust out your best chonklit ceegars, as something Eddy this way comes! There won’t be a dry seat in the house when you feast your eyes on this mischievous little tramp. Drawn! contributor S.britt’s (say, that’s me!) friendly toothless urchin, Eddy Broth has now been put up for adoption.

This comical and cuddly doll is just the thing for you to play with, sleep with and love forever. So much like a real friend, you’ll hardly notice the difference. Looks and smells just like an actual orphan! Eddy has a soft cotton body, a big happy smile and several outstanding warrants. Each wears a bright felt t-shirt featuring one of three delightful phrases and one sad cry for help. Give him a hug but never turn your back on him. Wouldn’t you like a friend like Eddy?

Each 16-inch Eddy is hand-signed by the artist and comes with a Best Friend Membership Card and free decal! Handmade in the U.S.A. Get yours today!

5. All the Prints That Are Fit to News!

Red-Riding-Hood

Never one to toot my own horn (I should be so nimble!), I’ve been asked many times over the years (alright, twice) if I ever had prints available and the answer has unfortunately always been a very apologetic “nope.” Well kids, your pirate ship has come in and it’s carrying a beaucoup of bootleg prints! Okay, so they’re not bootlegs (not yet at least, give ‘em a week or so on the open market), but they are prints and they’re of the utmost and most “ut” quality (of subpar pictures) you’ll ever find (if you don’t look all that hard)! Introducing 15 “hoof and mouth” selected prints of past favorites and current contenders, there’s sure to be at least one or two in the bunch that appeal to both your discerning glass eye and your fashionable velcro wallet.

Printed on fancy pants paper using the finest technology NASA has to offer (circa 1986), these prints are guaranteed to increase in value if I die tomorrow! And if that’s a risk you’re willing to take, then I accept your challenge and most major credit cards (except Discover and the Radio Shack Battery Club). Don’t wait! Become today what you’ve always dreamed of – a fine collector of mediocre art!

Yay! Our pal S.britt has a new website to showcase his work, and I can’t imagine better retro-fun packaging than this for his illustrations.

David Huyck unleashed the second edition of his super stlyish, super fun, and super affordable letterpress print set, The Cloudy Collection.

Like the last set, this set of 7 prints is only $35 with free shipping, limited to 100 sets, and as of this writing there are 80 sets left. I snagged mine right away; love that pink and brown!

This set features prints from David, S.Britt, Vera Brosgol, Chris “Elio” Eliopoulos, Scott Campbell, Bwana Spoons, and Vincent Stall.

9. S.britt’s new doodle room

I sure do love Stephan Britt’s new studio, aka his Doodle Room. The linked Flickr set shows both the before and after of his cheery-looking den of creativity. I’d love to hide away and doodle in such a bright, colourful place populated with critters and fun artwork everywhere.
